Tassels are made of mane hair and can be anywhere from 3 to 5 inches long depending on the length of the mane hair that is used. The top loop of the tassel is made from a horsehair braid with either a key chain ring or a lanyard clip on top. The top decorative section of the tassel is made with a technique called needle knots. Tassels can be made in a variety of sizes and colors depending on your needs. Let me know what you have in mind and I can make one that fits the bill.
