A Sho-Fly is used to keep the fly's away. It's usually attached to the breast collar or under the girth of a saddle. When the horse moves the sho-fly swings back and forth and keeps the fly's away.
A sho-fly is made of tail hair attached to a clip or ring. The top knot can be made with horsehair needle knots in a round ball shape or hitched horsehair in a variety of diamond designs.
