5x7 Picture Frame

These picture frames are made of old barn wood. The frame has a groove cut into it to place a custom made horsehair braid. The braid can be made from your special horse's tail hair or I can use tail hair that I have here. If you are sending hair for the braid please send only tail hair that is a minimum of 18" long. I will need about two finger widths of tail hair for this project.

The outside dimensions of the frame are
9 1/2" by 7 1/2" and holds a standard
5x7 picture. The frames have a standing
easel back and a glass front. They can
be vertical or horizontal.

There is a corner concho that is used to accent the frame. The concho is available in two designs, a star and a flower.

just below the concho and makes a very
nice compliment to the picture frame.

All of the art work that you see on this web site is custom crafted by myself. I don't have people working for me making these items. Every thing is done by hand by me. Because there's only one of me I have to schedule work as it comes in on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in having me custom craft a special memento just for you please allow 6 to 8 weeks for your item to be completed. Larger items can take longer.
